HOW 1-800-BILTONG CAME TO BE

1800BILTONG was established in the year 2000 by an ex-Capetonian who was desperately trying to find BILTONG & DROEWORS with a taste of home. He finally gave up and decided to make it himself ! 

He imported the spices from South Africa and made biltong the traditional way. After a lot of experimenting, he finally created a real winner. Once the word got out, people asked him to make some for them since more and more people wanted the authentic South African flavor that they grew up with. And so 1800BILTONG was born....
